Bringing learning to your laptop

For many years the adult and community learning team at West Nottinghamshire College has been bringing learning to your doorstep, delivering its range of courses in over 50 venues across Mansfield and Ashfield. Our face-to-face courses are still continuing in safe, socially-distanced classrooms at our Chesterfield Road and Derby Road sites in Mansfield. But we’re now bringing learning even closer to you with our new range of online courses. So you can study from the comfort of your own home!

As a response to the current national lockdown and to provide additional learning opportunities to adults aged 19+ affected by Covid-19, we are offering a range of online learning opportunities. If you are struggling with your mental health, been furloughed or made redundant or simply want to expand your knowledge of a new subject or retrain for a change of direction, then these courses will help you!

The courses are currently all knowledge-based (not certificated by an awarding organisation), providing you with an ideal starting point for progressing onto a qualification at a later date.

All the courses listed below are completely free until Monday 30 November 2020.

All you need to do is contact community@wnc.ac.uk and we’ll send you an electronic enrolment form to complete and return.

Once we have received the enrolment form you’ll be sent details on how to access the online training.

It's that simple!
