  • Cost - FREE for adults aged 19 or over (as of 31 August 2024), regardless of employment status.

While this course may be offered to you free of charge, failure to complete the course may result in a £125 administration fee. This fee covers the administrative costs associated with non-completion.

Entry requirements

  • No specific entry requirements  
  • Recommended: Minimum Level 2 in English and Maths (or equivalent)  
  • Applicants must live in England  
  • Applicants must not live in the locations listed here.

How long is the course?

  • Total time to complete - 135 hours  
  • Guided learning - 110 hours (includes all tutor contact, guidance, and supervision)  
  • Directed learning - Approximately 25 hours throughout the program  
  • Learners are expected to study and work on assessments independently.

How will I be assessed?

  • Assessment is done through internal evaluations, checked by external quality assurance.
  • To achieve a Pass, all learning outcomes and criteria must be met - no grading system is used.
