Bursaries
There are two different bursaries available to the 19+ age group. Bursary payments do not have to be repaid.
19+ Student Support Fund
If you have an annual gross household income below £28,000, you could be entitled to £50 a month in attendance-related bursary payments. In addition to this, you may be able to receive help with OFSTED registered childcare costs.
We cannot process your application until the start of your course and it may take up to eight weeks to hear from us.
Advanced Learner Loan Bursary
If you have an Advanced Learner Loan and an annual gross household income below £28,000 you could be entitled to £50 a month in attendance related bursary payments. In addition to this, you may be able to receive help with OFSTED registered childcare costs.
We cannot process your application until the start of your course and it may take up to eight weeks to hear from us.

Free college meals
Students aged 19 to 24 on 31 August 2020 who are subject to an Education of Health Care Plan (EHC Plan) may also be entitled to free college meals.
