Overview

Are you interested in digital marketing and social media? If yes, then this course is for you.

This course is ideal for those who have little or no previous experience who wish to develop a foundation of knowledge and understanding of digital marketing.

The topics within this course have been carefully selected to teach you the basics of marketing strategy including social media, email, and SEO (Search Engine Optimisation) as part of marketing campaigns.

Distance learning courses enable you to undertake learning in a flexible way; you can study around your existing commitments and responsibilities, and it is great for developing your confidence in your newfound skills.

The distance learning courses are completely free for anyone aged 19 or over (on the 31st August 2023), irrespective of their current employment status, but applicants must live in the UK in a non-devolved area. Applicants aged 19-23 must already have a full level 2 qualification to be eligible.

Please note, if you fail to reach the end of the course, you may be subject to a £125 admin fee.

Entry requirements

There are no specific entry requirements, however learners should have a minimum of Level 2 in literacy and numeracy or equivalent.

All applicants must live in England and NOT live in one of the locations listed here.

How long is the course?

Total time to achieve this qualification is 190 hours. Guided learning hours for this qualification is 129.

These hours are made up of all contact time, guidance or supervision of a tutor.

Learners are expected to study and do aspects of their assessment portfolio in their own time.

How will I be assessed?

The qualification is assessed by internally set and marked assessments subject to external quality assurance.

All learning outcomes and assessment criteria must be met to achieve a Pass – there is no grading.
