Overview
The aim of this qualification is to provide learners with a route to employment in the logistics sector.
It can also provide a foundation of learning for individuals currently in the sector to progress their role.
Entry requirements
There are no specific entry requirements, however learners should have a minimum of Level 2 in literacy and numeracy or equivalent.
This qualification is suitable for learners of 16 years of age and above.

This course is currently free if you are enrolled by Wednesday 31 March 2021.
How long is the course?
Total time to achieve this qualification is 140 hours.
Guided Learning hours with a tutor make up 101 of this time, with a further 39 hours for leaners to complete aspects of their assessment portfolio in their own time.
How will I be assessed?
The qualification is assessed by internally set and marked assessments subject to external quality assurance.
All learning outcomes and assessment criteria must be met to achieve a Pass – there is no grading.

This course is made up of a series of mandatory units:
- Health and safety requirements in a warehousing environment
- The importance of customer service in the warehousing environment
- Understand the principles of warehousing goods
- Understanding the process of stock checking and preparing goods for despatch
