Start dates and fees
This course is FREE for adults aged between 19 and 23 who have a full Level 2 qualification (or higher), and adults aged 24 and over irrespective of prior attainment level, if they are unemployed and in receipt of qualifying benefits, or are employed but earn less than £20,319 per year.
This course costs £50 for adults aged between 19 and 23 who have a full Level 2 qualification (or higher), and adults aged 24 and over irrespective of prior attainment level, if they are employed and earn more than £20,319 per year, or are unemployed but not in receipt of benefits.
The course cannot be funded for adults aged between 19 and 23 with a prior attainment level less than a full Level 2 qualification, therefore a fee of £100 is payable.

Entry requirements
There are no specific entry requirements, however learners should have a minimum of Level 1 in literacy and numeracy or equivalent.
