How do I sign up?

All new students have the opportunity to sign up to the travel scheme when they enrol and secure a place on their course.

You can only join the scheme once you have received your invite code from the college. This will be issued via text message and email once you sign your learning agreement. Any continuing learner on a true two-year course (e.g. A Levels) who is not required to re-enrol for the second year will receive their invite code in the near future. Each student’s invite code for the travel scheme changes every year.

See the ‘How do I join the travel scheme?’ FAQ for full details.

Returning students who may have used a physical card last year will have to go through the same process and register to use the mobile app but the conditions remain unchanged.

To register for an account, download the my mango app (available for iOS and Android or by visiting https://mango.crtransport.solutions/ )

  • When can I sign up to the travel scheme?

Students aged 16-18 and adult learners aged 19+ can sign up to the travel scheme at any time during their studies or employment, once they have received their invite code from the college. However, if you choose to join the scheme later than August/September, your monthly payments will be split over the remaining months up to and including 28 April. This means your monthly payments will be greater, as the total amount payable is typically spread over 9 months, so by spreading the amount over fewer months, the monthly installments will cost more.

Apprentices or college staff can also sign up to the travel scheme at any time and will pay a fixed monthly amount, as theirs is an annual product, valid all-year round.

  • What are the benefits of the travel scheme?

  • If I leave college part-way through the year, can I get a refund?

You can cancel at any time and pay up to the end of the current month. However, you won’t be entitled to a refund covering the remaining part of the month in which you cancel.
