T Level in Education and Childcare - Level 3
Overview
T Levels are a new type of qualification that is equivalent to studying three A levels. Taking 2-years to complete it will give you a boost towards the career you want and provides an exciting opportunity to benefit from a minimum 750 hours work placement within the early years sector.
As a T Level qualification, this course consists of two components; core and occupational specialism where you will learn the knowledge, skills and behaviours required to work within early years, care and education. You will also take part in a substantial industry work placement and undertake a practical employer led the project.
During the course, you will learn through classroom based activities, as well as taking part in trips, visits, industry talks, and taster events. Teaching provides opportunities to develop core skills through a range of active and academic learning methods.
The early years occupational specialism focuses on developing the skills that prepare you for professional practice and progression into a career in early years education, childcare or assisting teaching with young children.
