Using the college’s state-of-the-art 3D printers, you can be part of a team that designing, prototyping and machine-building tool parts to be used by different departments across the college.

Our facilities
Our new robotics and automation suite is second-to-none and is home to a range of robots from the UK’s number one robotics company: ABB. We’re the only college in the country with Emau robots. We are working in partnership with Italy-based robotics specialist, Comau. This equipment will be pre-loaded with learning lessons and outcomes to teach automation and robotics at various levels. We also work with the electrical controls specialist, PNE Controls, who are upgrading our HAS Automation assembly line, currently in OL114.
The centre also boasts a dedicated LRC and computer suites, hybrid workstations, 3D printers, and more.
