We operate two pop-up, student-run salons: a barber’s and a brow and nail bar open to the general public.
As well as excellent nail technology, barbering and brow skills, working in the pop-up salons will help you to develop a range of other transferrable skills, such as teamwork, customer care, communication and money handling. You will also get used to working with an audience, as the pop-up salons are open in the middle of the atrium, and are open to all.
You will have the chance to see how things work behind the scenes: putting together a business plan and marketing campaign so that you can see how running a small beauty business works. Develop your business acumen and professional confidence, as well as providing a top-quality service to your clients!
