You will have access to three floors with dedicated suites for developing computer games, web development and computer programming, plus four laboratories for you to practically dismantle and repair hardware.

Industry placements

You will have the opportunity to work in industry with placements including NHS and PC World (KnowHow) amongst others. We also work closely with local partners such as Dijitul and the Computer Store, Mansfield.

Enter into competitions

Once you;ve gained the right skills and experience, you will be invited to showcase your talents at regional IT competitions. You can also take part in inter-gaming competitions right here at college.

Be part of the 'Learning Company'

RESOLVE I.T. offers the perfect opportunity to fulfil your work placement hours and gain valuable experience.

Our very own PC repair company is run by students studying on the computer science and business courses. Providing IT support, consultancy and network solutions along with low cost PC and mobile phone repairs, they are busy helping real-life customers to overcome their problems with technology.

From PC custom builds, to product creation (logos, websites, apps etc.) and 3D printing, there is lots to learn and you’ll be supported by expert teachers throughout your time in the company.

They worked brilliantly on a project with Mansfield-based campaign #WeMakeICTPossible, founded by three business owners. Students assisted with rebuilding laptops, tablets and desktop systems so that schoolchildren and young people in the community could benefit from obtaining IT equipment where they would otherwise not have the chance to use it.

They refurbished many pieces of equipment so that young people who are experiencing digital poverty in the Mansfield and Ashfield areas could have access to IT.
