Decorative Finishing and Industrial Painting Occupations NVQ/Diploma (parts 1 and 2) - Level 2

Overview

You'll study a range of modules that include the following:

  • Carrying out safe working practices
  • Preparing surfaces
  • Applying hangings to walls and ceilings
  • Applying paint materials by brush and roller
  • Producing specialist decorative finishes

You will also be required to undertake Functional Skills in Maths and English.

Entry requirements

Applicants with trade experience or a relevant Construction Diploma Level 1 may apply.

How long is the course?

35 weeks.

How will I be assessed?

You will be expected to collect work-based evidence and photos for a portfolio, which will enable you to achieve the NVQ.

What does the course lead to?

Upon successful completion you could progress to the NVQ Level 3.
