Learning resource centres

Our four campuses have learning resource centres (LRCs) to provide you with the additional tools and resources you’ll need for your course.

Our main LRC

Our main learning resource centre is at our Derby Road campus. Here you will find dedicated computers with internet access, alongside a library of print materials and resources including:

  • Books
  • DVDs
  • Journals
  • Magazines
  • Newspapers

Specialist software is also available for those with learning needs and the friendly team at the LRC can provide support with research or accessing information.

A wide range of online resources are available including e-books, e-journals and specialist websites, as well as our online library catalogue.

Further services are also available at our smaller sites.

Study spaces

The LRC has plenty of space for you to study independently or with friends.

Access to IT

Students at college have access to computer areas available as a drop-in or pre-book service.

Free Wi-Fi

As a student at Vision West Nottinghamshire College, you’ll have access to free Wi-Fi across college campuses. When you join college you’ll be given access to the Wi-Fi username and password to enable you to use the internet on a mobile device or laptop.
