APPLICATIONS

Due to the closure of college we are unable to accept paper applications for our courses. Applications can only be made online.

If you are unable to make an online application, please call 07989315794 or 07957543886 to make your application over the phone.

COLLEGE BUS SERVICE

Due to a reduction in students accessing college, bus services will be restricted on the days that the college is open (Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday). The following services will continue to run – bus 10 (morning and evening), bus 4 (morning and evening), bus 12 (morning only including a pick-up at Farm Foods on Oak Tree Lane) and bus 8 (evening only including a drop-off at Farm Foods on Oak Tree Lane).

Special transport will continue to operate. Any student who has been allowed to access college and needs to access a different bus service please contact us on 0800 100 3626 or enquiries@wnc.ac.uk.

Dining

Our campuses have a diner, refectory and/or vending machines to use.

A wide range of meals and snacks

We are committed to providing a high level of service and offering a wide range of fresh, healthy, affordable meals and snacks.

We offer a good selection of vegetarian options and if you have any special dietary needs our catering team who will be happy to assist you.

Dining services available

Derby Road Campus


The Diner offers a full breakfast service from 8.30am until 11.30am and re-opens at 12pm providing a wide range of hot meals, snacks and hot and cold drinks.

Service ends at 2.30pm daily and 2pm on Fridays.

The Courtyard Cafe offers a salad bar, paninis, jacket potatoes, toasties, sandwiches, hot pasta dishes and filled baguettes.

We are proud to serve Costa Coffee and a range of hot drinks.

The cafe opens at 8am and service ends at 3pm daily.

Construction Centre (Station Park)


The Canteen opens at 8.30am and offers both a breakfast and lunch service with a selection of hot meals, snacks and drinks.

Service ends at 2.30pm.

Engineering Innovation Centre


The Pitstop opens at 8am and offers both a breakfast and lunch service with a good selection of hot and cold snacks and drinks.

Service ends at 2.30pm.

Vending machines

There is also a good selection of snack and hot/cold drink vending machines across all campuses which also serve as an out of hours refreshment option. All vending machines take cash and supports our catering service.

Free school meals

If you’re aged between 16-18 you may be entitled to free school meals at the college. If you received free schools meals at school, it is likely that this entitlement will continue with you into college.
