Volunteering and charity

Giving up your time to do something good is not only rewarding to the people you help, but you’ll also gain a sense of satisfaction – and it looks great on your CV or UCAS application too.

We offer volunteering opportunities to students looking to gain new skills, get work experience, or simply make new friends and have fun. There are many types of volunteering opportunities for you to get involved in, including community volunteering or opportunities abroad.

We also host regular fundraising events and activities to raise money for a number of local and national charities.

Take a look at our volunteering directory to see a list of organisations that offer volunteering opportunities available to you.

There are also a number of regular events happening from sporting activities including ‘raveminton’ and horse riding (off-site), to inspiring guest speakers and commemorative events.
