With record-breaking applications, many courses for September 2024 were already full by spring time. With an increasing number of school leavers in our local area, the same high demand is expected for September 2025. So apply early to secure your place and avoid disappointment!

The enrolment journey

From first applying to study with us, right the way through to enrolling on your course, here you can keep track of your enrolment process.

Still not sure what to study?

Book a careers advice appointment with our careers team who can help explore your options or visit Careers Coach where you can discover careers and courses based on your interests.

Apply for a course online

You can choose to apply for one course* a full list can be found on our courses and apprenticeships page. Once you have applied we will be in touch with details about your next steps.

*When applying for A Levels you can apply for up to four A Level subjects or our 2+1 vocational option.

Receive your offer

If you meet the entry requirements for your course, you will be sent an automatic conditional offer via email.

Accept your offer

You will be asked to accept your offer either by text, email or by updating your myVISION. You can accept your offer anytime once you have received it.

Once you have accepted your offer, we will keep in touch and provide you with as much information as possible about your course, provide information on all college services to make sure you are happy and ready to start next academic year.

Meet your tutor

If you accept your offer, you will be invited to a meet the tutor event hosted by the curriculum area to tell you more about the course and expectations.

Received your enrolment letter

To ensure you are ready to start your course you must attend enrolment. You will receive a letter with the details of your enrolment date and time.

It is essential you attend this day!

Attended your enrolment date

You will not be able you start your course if you do not attend your enrolment date. At enrolment you will enrol, receive your student ID badge, show your certificates, and have the opportunity to talk to your teachers and meet people on your course.

Now you’re a West Notts student you’ll have access to plenty of added extras to enjoy alongside your course.

Induction and transition

Your journey does not end once you become a student. We put together a two-week induction programme with the aim of assisting your transition to becoming a college student. This programme will include fresher’s fair, induction sessions, tutorials and much more!
