Construction Centre

First opened in 2008, this dedicated building based in Kirkby-in-Ashfield offers training for students working towards a career in construction.

Overview

Home to our construction students, the Construction Centre is equipped with some of the best facilities in the sector. With both practical areas and classrooms close by, students are able to hone the specialist skills and techniques needed in their chosen trade, ready for prospective employment.

Travel information:

The Construction Centre is accessible by road and rail, with car parking available on site. The college bus service provides regular drop-offs via the main campus (at Derby Road), and public transport also runs within close proximity (the nearest train station is Sutton Parkway which is in walking distance).

Courses offered at this location:

Entry-level to Level 3 courses in construction and building services including bricklaying, carpentry and joinery, electrical and plumbing, painting and decorating, plastering, and professional construction studies.
