The service
The college careers programme will provide your child with the knowledge, skills, attitudes and behaviours to prepare them to face the challenges and opportunities of learning and working that lie ahead of them. The Gatsby Benchmarks are recognised nationally as the blueprint for what a good careers programme should look like and this is incorporated into our programme.

- Confidential careers guidance appointments with a member of the Careers Guidance Team.
- Pre-entry and on-course guidance on options and alternative routes.
- Events and online opportunities to meet universities, apprenticeship training providers, recruitment agencies and employers.
- Notifications sent direct to your child’s careers platform, accessible via their mobile phone or PC, relating to apprenticeships, university workshops, tours and open evenings, business start-ups and regular updates on labour market information (LMI).
