Essential skills for employment
Studying on a programme with us means far more than just gaining a qualification. There are lots more ways that you will pick up the skills essential for employment or progression to a higher-level course.
If you haven’t gained GCSEs in English and maths at grade A*-C or a grade 9–4 before joining us you will continue to study English and maths as part of your programme and take appropriate qualifications in these subjects.
Employers tell us that these subjects are essential for today’s workplace and we will work with you to make sure that you develop these essential skills.
We will also work with you on your own study skills, support you with your professional development and provide you with opportunities to get involved in a range of activities that mean you will leave us ready for your next steps.
