Background
A former student of West Nottinghamshire College, Phil studied the BTEC National and Higher National Diplomas in Sport and Exercise Science between 1998 and 2002 before going on to work as a strength and conditioning coach and educator.
As a coach Phil has worked with international and professional athletes including several world record holders and Paralympic gold medallists.
As well as teaching across sport and uniformed public services in the college, Phil also owns and runs a strength and conditioning gym that caters to member of the public as well as athletes.

Interests/hobbies
A keen motorcyclist, Phil is often getting himself lost exploring the roads of the UK, and beyond he keeps banging on about an adventure bike so he can get lost off road as well.
Studying martial arts is a passion especially Tai Chi and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.
Phil loves all thing heavy metal and getting out to see music live.
