Biography

My name is Wayne Loseby and I teach in the sports department here at the college. I also teach Mansfield Town Scholars at RH Academy.

Before moving into a career in teaching and assessing I worked as a personal trainer, sports massage therapist and gym manager within the fitness industry for nine years. I’m a previous head of sport, national apprenticeship manager and lead IQA for several different education establishments.

I have taught and assessed at professional football clubs including Nottingham Forest, Notts County, Derby County, Leicester City and Charlton Athletic to name a few.

I am still continuing with my education with strength and condition, I am considering a Masters Degree or PHD in the future.

I got where I am today with hard work and determination. My two key sporting passions are football and boxing. A quote from me has to be: “Good things happen to good people.”
