Leanne Hartley

Sport and Uniformed Protective Services Physical Activity Coach

Biography

Leanne started her professional career as a dancer before going back to education at age 20 to study sports science and personal training.

Over the course of her 15-year sports industry career, Leanne managed her own personal training business while simultaneously working as a group exercise instructor. She subsequently transitioned to British Cycling, where she filled the role of strength and conditioning coach while cycling throughout the country.

Driven by her passion for imparting knowledge, Leanne made the transition to education and became a physical education teacher at West Notts College.

Leanne holds a diverse range of qualifications including Sport and Exercise Science, Personal Trainer, Strength and Conditioning Coach, Group Exercise Instructor, Spin Instructor, Level 2 Fitness Instructor, and Nutrition.

In her leisure time, Leanne engages in activities such as dancing, gym workouts, travel, exploring Cornwall, surfing, and architectural appreciation.
