Jade Burke

Teacher: Sport Studies

Biography

Jade is from Sheffield and joined the college in 2015 as a sport teacher having previously worked at North Notts College. She has also worked at Hillsborough College, having extensive experience of teaching sport to FE students.

She has previously coached football for New York Red Bulls, Liverpool Academy and in primary schools and worked as a fitness instructor and her specialist areas are biomechanics, anatomy and physiology, fitness, coaching and work experience.

Jade holds the Level 2 FA Coaching Award, Level 2 Gym and Weights Instructor and Kettlebells Instructor qualifications and she achieved the PGCE Lifelong Learning at the University of Huddersfield. She has also achieved a BSc Sport and Exercise Science and the MSc Sport and Exercise Science from the University of Chester.

During her spare time she enjoys day out with her daughters and family, playing football and badminton and watching her favourite team SWFC.
