Biography

David is a teacher working in the English department here at West Nottinghamshire College. His background is in theatre and performance (BA Hons), but he has utilised the skills gained through this to make complicated texts engaging and interesting for students of all levels to help in securing their GCSE English qualification.

David got in to teaching (PGCE PCET) following negative experiences in his own academic past. His main focus is to reignite passion for learning in students who may have encountered similar experiences.

Since joining the college, David has worked with a wide range of students and works assiduously to ensure that all students are given the best opportunities for success.

David is an avid reader, animal fanatic and board game and video game enthusiast. He is happy to discuss these interests, especially his pet dog Colin.
