Biography
Luke is a passionate educator with a first-class BA (Hons) in Creative Media, currently pursuing his teaching qualification whilst bringing three years of experience to his role as a Level 2 and Level 3 software instructor. Luke specialises in 3D modelling and motion graphics, teaching students to master tools such as Blender 3D, After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
Before transitioning into teaching, Luke worked as a graphic designer for a music and events company and took on freelance projects focused on branding. Luke is passionate about encouraging creativity, critical thinking, and hands-on project-based learning.
Under his guidance, students have successfully engaged in creative, collaborative projects for the Mansfield Museum and other various clients, where they experienced professional practices and received valuable feedback from industry professionals. His goal is to equip students with the relevant skills necessary to open the doors to future careers and higher education opportunities. Luke’s expertise include 3D modelling and animation, graphic design, motion graphics, games production, marketing and branding.
In his spare time, Luke indulges in hobbies such as watching films, exploring new 3D and animation tools, and playing games, all of which inspire his teaching and keeps him connected to the fast-evolving creative industries.
