Biography

Reece was a student at West Notts College, completing the Level 3 diploma/NVQ in site carpentry and wood occupations, whilst also achieving student of the year award. Reece later then came back to further his studies in the construction and built environment course.

Reece began his career working as an apprentice site carpenter working on small to medium projects learning a wide range of construction processes. He then ventured into a bench manufacturing environment working closely with construction outfits that focused on modular building and modern methods of construction.

Reece then dropped tools and directed his career in the education sector. Working with West Notts as a sessional member of staff. He later secured a full-time position as a trainer assessor where he continued his studies on the Certificate of Education course. This then led Reece to becoming a full-time member as a teacher.

Recently Reece has again progressed within his career as a programme area leader where he continues to teach learners and help with day to day organisation of the carpentry and joinery department.
