Biography

Alice studied at De Montfort University completing a BA Hons Criminology and Criminal Justice degree. She then began working in healthcare, specialising in supporting service users with learning disabilities. During this time Alice returned to university and studied an MA in Diplomacy and World Order. When studying, Alice won a prestigious scholarship and represented the UK for the ‘Change the World Model UN’, focusing on international climate change legislation.

In 2019, whilst Alice was still studying, she moved back to her hometown and became a COVID vaccinator for the NHS and vaccinated approximately over 1000 patients. She then decided to become a teacher and studied a PGCE in Social Science with the Bluecoat SCITT Alliance. Upon graduating Alice took a job at West Nottinghamshire College being an achievement coach and in the following year moved departments and became the sociology tutor for the access department.

Outside of college Alice enjoys hiking and spending time with her dog.

Alice is a fully-qualified teacher, with over 5 years of experience in healthcare and is first aid trained.
