Vision West Nottinghamshire College and Mansfield Town Football Club are proud to be working in collaboration to provide educational programmes to promising footballers aged 16 to 21. This role is a great opportunity for a dynamic, professional individual with a sporting background to join a forward thinking college in the development and teaching of a range of Sport courses.  The primary focus will be teaching students who are part of the Mansfield Town Football Club education programmes, and you will be part of the Vision West Nottinghamshire College team that works within the area of Sport, Public Services, Hair and Beauty.

You will be responsible for delivering and assessing a variety of applied theoretical and practical elements of our BTEC Extended Diploma in Sport (2016 specification), along with delivery of the educational component of our apprenticeship programmes for players on a scholarship with the football club.

You will ideally be educated to at least Level 3 or Degree Level in a sport-based qualification and possess a relevant teaching qualification. The role will require high levels of self-motivation and energy, along with a strong sense of autonomy in order to deliver and continually develop the programmes to enable an outstanding education experience for the learners. 

You will be required to provide a supportive and professional environment that will aid the development of young footballers in their academic journey. You will be expected to be organised with excellent time management and administrative skills, and have the ability to build positive relationships with coaching staff and players. You will possess excellent communication (both written and oral), strong organisational skills, along with demonstrating a flexible and professional attitude.
