Business Administration Apprentices (15 months fixed term contract)

This is a great opportunity to join the college and provide effective and efficient administrative support for various departments within the college including:

X 1 Business Administration Apprentice level 2 for Lifestyle Academy (Hair, Beauty, Travel and Hospitality)

X 1 Business Administration Apprentice level 3 for MIS (Management Information Systems)

X 1 Business Administration Apprentice level 3 for (across college). You will undertake 5 month placements within 3 various departments including; Human Resources, Student Support, Lifestyle Academy and Marketing and Communications.

You will need to demonstrate strong organisational, administrative and secretarial skills.  You will have a working knowledge of office technology packages, including word processing applications, databases and spread sheets.

You will be customer focussed with a friendly, outgoing personality and the confidence to deal with customer queries and colleagues over the telephone and face to face.  You should be able to work under pressure to tight deadlines and maintain accuracy and quality of outcomes at all times.  You will be required to work alongside team members and on your own initiative as required.  As you may change placements every five months, you must be flexible and adaptable, as you may be asked to work across any of the college sites. 

You will be supported to undertake an NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Business Administration whilst gaining invaluable on-the-job experience and attending specific training to aid your development in the role.   You should be willing to continuously update your professional development and undertake training in the use of learner administration systems, college procedures and legislative compliance in relation to duties undertaken.
