Parent Information Evening

This event is not a college open evening. This event is for the parents and carers of young people who have applied for a college course starting in September 2019.  

When you arrive

Make your way to the main reception of our Derby Road campus where you will be greeted by our friendly staff. You will then be invited to listen to a presentation, which will include:

A warm welcome by a member of the college’s executive team.
Information about your child’s study programme including work placements and wider learning opportunities.
Understanding what we expect of students and what they can expect from college life.
Guidance on the various support services available to students at college including additional learning support.
What financial support students can access at college.
Information about what to expect between now and September.

What to bring

You won’t need to bring anything with you on the night, just any burning questions that you might have.

Getting here

Our campuses are accessible via road, and are in close proximity to the train stations, and public bus services also run close to the college. There is ample parking on-site.
