The best way to apply for a course at college is online. Follow our step-by-step guide below. Remember to apply as early as possible to secure your place.

Search for a course and find a subject that suits you and your career goals. Not sure what career to go into? Then check out our new career coach website.

Select the course* you are interested in and click 'Apply online'.
*When applying for A Levels you can apply for up to four A Level subjects or our 2+1 vocational option.

Finally, fill in our easy step-by-step application form and click 'Submit application'.
What happens next?
Attend an applicant information event
Applicants are now given an automatic conditional offer providing you meet the entry requirements of the course.
If you accept the offer, you will be invited to attend an applicant information event to tell you more about the course and the expectations. It is a condition of the offer that you attend this event.
Track your application
You can track the progress of your application on view important information using myVISION.
Visit the applicant zone
The applicant zone is a hub for you to find out more about college life, what’s available to you as an applicant and to learn more about the enrolment journey.
Enrolment
Once you have accepted your place at college, you will receive an invite to enrol at our Derby Road campus at the end of August. At enrolment you will officially become a student at West Notts. You will complete your learning agreement, receive your timetable, lanyard, studnet ID card and details of bursaries/grants available to you.
