Become an English or maths mentor!
Do you enjoy helping others and have strong skills in English or maths? If so, we need you!
We’re looking to recruit GCSE mentors who will support students that are currently studying to improve their grades but would benefit from having a friendly face to work with.
All you need is to be reliable, approachable and have a Level 6 or above in English or maths.

For every hour you complete, you will receive a stamp. After six stamps, you will receive a free reward on us to say thank you!
Help others
Choosing to help others is a great not only to boost your confidence, but simply doing a good deed. And, who doesn’t feel good about helping others?
Your role as a mentor
As a mentor, you will need to:
Be available to meet with your mentee for at least one hour per week – either in their class or over Teams.
Attend a welcome session where you find out more about the role.
Offer support and guidance on any challenges they may be facing with their work.
Encourage your mentee and help to build their confidence.
Have lots of enthusiasm! You need to enjoy maths or English and want to share this with others.
