Want to improve your photography skills and take your creativity to the next level? Our photography courses are designed for adults looking to develop their passion in a small, supportive group. Whether you're just starting out or ready to refine your techniques, our hands-on courses will help you capture stunning images with confidence.
As an added bonus, you’ll also have the opportunity to showcase and sell any products you create through a brand-new pop-up shop, developed in partnership with our full-time business students. It’s a great chance to share your work with the community, gain real selling experience, and support a student-led enterprise.
Beginner digital photography and editing
Elevate your photography and editing skills and bring your creative vision to life. You will refine composition, master lighting and take full control of camera settings for professional results. Learn to plan, produce and edit photographs using software to produce a range of images based on various topics and themes.
- Where: Derby Road Campus, Mansfield (NG18 5BH)
- Duration: 13 weeks**
- Start/end date: Monday 23 February to Monday 15 June 2026 OR Wednesday 25 February to Wednesday 10 June 2026
- Session times: 6.00-8.00pm
- Equipment required: A digital camera (DSLR or Mirrorless) with any additional lenses and memory cards. Tripod also suggested.
- Cost: FREE* or £10 per session (returning learners must pay £10 per session)

Entry requirements
- This course is only available to students aged 19+.
- No previous experience or skills are required.
