  • Cost - FREE for adults aged 19 or over (as of 31 August 2024), regardless of employment status.

  • Sources of information, support, legislation and guidance relevant to specific learning difficulties.

Entry requirements

  • No specific entry requirements  
  • Recommended: Minimum Level 2 in English and Maths (or equivalent)  
  • Applicants must live in England  
  • Applicants must not live in the locations listed here.

How long is the course?

  • Total time to complete - 135 hours
  • Guided learning - 108 hours with a tutor
  • Directed learning - 27 hours to complete assessments independently.

How will I be assessed?

  • Assessment is done through internal evaluations, checked by external quality assurance.
  • To achieve a Pass, all learning outcomes and criteria must be met - no grading system is used.
