Certificate in Awareness of Bullying in Children and Young People (Online) - Level 2

Overview

The qualification develops learners’ knowledge and understanding of bullying.

Learners will recognise the signs and understand the effects bullying has on children and young people.

  • Cost - FREE for adults aged 19 or over (as of 31 August 2024), regardless of employment status.

What will I study?

This course is made up of a series of mandatory units:

  • Action to be taken when a child or young person is being bullied
  • Principles of bullying
  • Recognising bullying in children and young people
  • Understand government guidance for bullying

Entry requirements

  • No specific entry requirements  
  • Recommended: Minimum Level 2 in English and Maths (or equivalent)  
  • Applicants must live in England  
  • Applicants must not live in the locations listed here.

How long is the course?

  • Total time to complete - 140 hours (including tutor lead guided learning hours).

How will I be assessed?

The qualification is assessed by internally set and marked assessments subject to external quality assurance.

All learning outcomes and assessment criteria must be met to achieve a Pass – there is no grading.
