CMI Diploma in Principles of Management and Leadership - Level 3
Overview
These qualifications are aimed at practising or aspiring managers and leaders who are typically accountable to a senior manager or business owner. The primary role of a practising or aspiring manager and leader is to lead and manage individuals and teams to deliver aims and objectives in line with organisational strategy.
CMI qualifications come in different sizes, depending on how in-depth the qualification is and how long it will take you to complete it. The Diploma programmes provide an in depth knowledge of the principles, taking between 9 and 12 months to complete.

Start Date - This course is offered on a rolling basis so please get in touch to find out when the next course is starting.
Cost - £1,595
The course fee can either be paid in full or in four instalments.
If you wish to pay in instalments, you will be required to pay 25% (£398.75) of the total fee on the day of enrolment and a Direct Debit mandate would then need to be completed to enable the college to collect a further three payments of £398.75 bi-monthly. The payments will be taken on the date you choose on the Direct Debit mandate form.

What will I study?
The course is delivered using Microsoft Teams and includes 8 live webinars, 8 short study modules and 8 CMI assignments:
- Webinar 1: Understand how organisations operate and the management/leadership role
- Webinar 2: Understand the role and purpose of teams and how to achieve the high performing team
- Webinar 3: Understand the purpose of different stakeholder groups and how to build effective communication relationships
- Webinar 4: Understand the role of projects within organisations
- Webinar 5: Understand the process of managing daily activities and ensuring objectives are met
- Webinar 6: Understand the importance of using resources and the purpose of budgets
- Webinar 7: Understand reasons for collecting data and information and the different types used by organisations
- Webinar 8: Understand the benefits of personal and professional development
Entry requirements
GCSE Grade C/4 or equivalent in English.
