CMI Diploma in Leadership and Management - Level 5

Overview

These qualifications are aimed at practising or aspiring managers and leaders who are typically accountable to a senior manager or business owner. The primary role of a practising or aspiring manager and leader is to lead and manage individuals and teams to deliver aims and objectives in line with organisational strategy.

The Diploma provides a wider range of knowledge and skills and takes 12 months to complete.

Once joining the course, you will have access to an exclusive online resources centre, filled with helpful guides, information sheets and learning materials.


Start dates and fees

Start date - This course is offered on a rolling basis so please get in touch to find out when the next course is starting.

Cost - £1,595

The course fee can either be paid in full or in four instalments.

If you wish to pay in instalments, you will be required to pay 25% (£398.75) of the total fee on the day of enrolment and a Direct Debit mandate would then need to be completed to enable the college to collect a further three payments of £398.75 bi-monthly. The payments will be taken on the date you choose on the Direct Debit mandate form.

What will I study?

The course is delivered using Microsoft Teams and includes twelve live webinars, ten short study modules and eight CMI assignment.

  • Webinar 1:  Understand approaches to developing and managing the team 
  • Webinar 2:  Understand the approaches to achieving a balance of skills and experience of teams
  • Webinar 3: Understand appropriate techniques for leading individuals and teams to achieve success
  • Webinar 4: Understand and manage different types of stakeholder relationships and the impact of stakeholder engagement on organisational performance
  • Webinar 5: Understand reasons for change in organisations together with approaches to change management.
  • Webinar 6: Initiate, plan and manage change in an organisation
  • Webinar 7: Understand factors which influence an organisation’s internal environment including management and leadership theories
  • Webinar 8: Understand the role of projects and project related documentation
  • Webinar 9: Understand the principles of operational planning
  • Webinar 10: Understand finance within organisations
  • Webinar 11: Understand the value of reflective practice
  • Webinar 12: Assignment briefing and any questions relating to assignment criteria.

Entry requirements

  • GCSE Grade C/4 or equivalent English plus successful completion of a pre-enrolment assessment (contact us for more information).
  • Before you enrol, we recommend you talk to us so we can go through your experience and goals to make sure this is the right course for you.
