CMI Certificate in Leadership and Management - Level 3

Overview

These qualifications are aimed at practising or aspiring managers and leaders who are typically accountable to a senior manager or business owner. The primary role of a practising or aspiring manager and leader is to lead and manage individuals and teams to deliver aims and objectives in line with organisational strategy.

CMI qualifications come in different sizes, depending on how in-depth the qualification is and how long it will take you to complete it.

This course provides a broad base of knowledge and skills and takes approximately 12 weeks to complete.

Once joining the course, you will have access to an exclusive online resources centre, filled with helpful guides, information sheets and learning materials.


Start dates and fees

Start date - This course is offered on a rolling basis so please get in touch to find out when the next course is starting.

Cost - £655

The course fee can either be paid in full or in four instalments.

If you wish to pay in instalments, you will be required to pay 25% (£163.75) of the total fee on the day of enrolment and a Direct Debit mandate would then need to be completed to enable the college to collect three further payments of £163.75. The payments will be taken on the date you choose on the Direct Debit mandate form.

What will I study?

This course is delivered using Microsoft Teams remotely and includes:

  • Six live webinars (details below)
  • Three short study modules
  • Three further study modules
  • Two unit assignments
  • Final assessment.
  • Webinar 1:  Understand the role and purpose of teams 
  • Webinar 2: Recognise the characteristics of a high performing team
  • Webinar 3: Leading, communicating and motivating a high performing team
  • Webinar 4: Channels and types of Communication
  • Webinar 5: Developing the knowledge, skills and abilities of individuals and teams; Understanding different types of development available to support individuals and teams
  • Webinar 6: Identifying and selecting development opportunities for individuals and teams; Monitoring the impact of learning and development activities on individuals and teams; Completion of Workbook

Entry requirements

GCSE Grade C/4 or equivalent English.


How long is the course?

12 weeks.

  • Webinars delivered fortnightly.
  • Study module for each webinar
  • CMI Unit Assignment.
