Arts Saturday Workshop (For 7 to 11 Years Olds)
Overview
Is your child aged 7-11? At West Notts, we’re hosting weekly art workshops designed for young people to have fun and get creative through art-based activities.
Students are invited to take part in a range of activities using a wide spectrum of creative processes. Over 10 weeks, students can try printmaking, ceramics, life drawing, painting, textiles, sewing and 3D modelling.

What will I study?
Students can try printmaking, ceramics, life drawing, painting, textiles, sewing and 3D modelling. Your child will need to wear old clothing, as some of the activities are messy, and although aprons are provided on the day – accidents can happen!
Entry requirements
There are no formal qualifications required for attending this course, but students will have the opportunity to have their work displayed alongside work by our college students, in an end-of-year show. Students are also invited to take home what they produce in class.
How long is the course?
The course runs for 10 weeks. Parents are encouraged to attend a few sessions to help their child settle in, but we do encourage young people to make friends within the group and attend independently.
Career opportunities
