Hair and beauty students regularly showcase their talents at events. Students are invited to share demonstrations of their work and best practice in catwalk shows, to members of the public.

As a hair and beauty student, you’ll have the opportunity to showcase your passion and skills in two pop-up salons, College Cuts and Meraki Beauty.
Not only will you refine your nail technology, make-up artistry, brow, and barbering skills, but you’ll also develop a range of transferable skills like teamwork, customer care, communication, and money handling. The pop-up salons, which can be located in college social spaces, festivals and shopping centres, provide a platform to work with an audience of diverse clients.
From crafting business plans to executing marketing campaigns and managing clients, you’ll engage in a variety of tasks that nurture your business expertise, boost your confidence, and prepare you for future employment — whether you choose to work for someone else or establish your own business.
