Costs

  • FREE for adults aged 19 or over (on 31 August 2024), unemployed and in receipt of qualifying benefits, or employed earning less than £25,000 per year.
  • £20 for adults aged 19 or over (on 31 August 2024), employed and earning more than £25,000 per year, or unemployed and not in receipt of benefits.

Entry requirements

  • No prior qualifications are required to attend this course.
  • Attendees must be aged 19 or over and have a genuine interest in animal care.

How long is the course?

  • 5 hours from 9.30am-2.30pm.

How will I be assessed?

  • This is a non-accredited course and therefore there is no formal assessment.
  • You will be expected to actively participate in the practical sessions and engage in class discussions.
