Access to HE Diploma (Law) - Level 3

Access to HE Diploma (Law) - Level 3

Overview

Are you interested in a career as a barrister, solicitor or criminologist?

Law plays a fundamental role that affects everyone everyday. This pathway fuses together the two very closely related fields of law and business and has a broad range of progression routes.

The Access to HE Diploma (Law) course is intended for adults (aged 19+) who have been out of education for some time and want to get the skills and qualifications to progress onto Higher Education. Whether you want to go on to university or simply learn something new, this is the course for you. We assume no prior knowledge of law, business or academic skills; these are built upon over the duration of the course.

This full Level 3 nationally recognised qualification prepares you without the need for traditional qualifications and provides you with the opportunity to gain and enhance vital industry knowledge and skills. You will also develop the communication skills and confidence necessary for success in university-level study.

You can prepare by reading around your subject via our booklist and purchase recommended items from our kit list, you can find these here. Please be aware that as an Access learner you might be eligible to receive a college laptop for you to use for the duration of your course.

Once you’ve finished your Access to HE course, you may choose to stay and study a foundation degree in Criminal Justice at the NTU Mansfield Centre on our Derby Road campus, which is run by Nottingham Trent University.

Don't let paying for this course hold you back from achieving your goals. There are different funding routes available for adult learners. Dependent on your personal circumstances, you may be eligible to:
