AAT Drafting and Interpreting Financial Statements - Level 4

Overview

In this unit you will study how to draft financial statements of limited companies while following underlying accounting concepts and international financial reporting standards. You will also interpret the statements using financial ratios

Start Dates

  • Monday 6 January 2025 (Runs Monday daytime 9.30am-3.30pm)
  • Monday 21 April 2025 (Runs Monday and Tuesday evenings 6-9pm)

Costs

  • £633.50

The course fee can either be paid in full or in four instalments.

If you wish to pay in instalments, you will be required to pay 25% (£158.75) of the total fee on the day of enrolment and a Direct Debit mandate would then need to be completed to enable the college to collect a further three payments of £158.25 a month. The payments will be taken on the date you choose on the Direct Debit mandate form.

On top of the course fees, you will also be required to join the AAT professional body, which may incur a charge.


Entry requirements

You should hold an AAT Level 3 qualification in Accounts or a Degree in Accounting.


How long is the course?

10 weeks.


How will I be assessed?

You will be assessed by an external exam.


What does the course lead to?

Full membership of the AAT and entry for ACCA, ICAEW or CIMA qualifications upon completion of the full qualification.
