Warehousing and Storage and Customer Service Level 1 qualification

A pathway leading to Multi Drop Delivery Driver roles (Nightshift)

This five daycourse will give candidates an insight into the supply chain and logistics industry.

Candidates successfully completing the course will gain Warehousing and Storage and Customer Service level 1 qualifications and will be eligible for guaranteed interview.

Course outline

The course has been designed in conjunction with the driving sector and will cover:

Wrapping and packing goods in a logistics environment

Picking goods in a logistics environment

Using equipment to move goods in logistics facilities

Understanding health and safety legislation

Keeping work areas clean in a logistics environment

Driving hours, safety around a vehicle and vulnerable road users

Personal health and customer services

Interview techniques and a thorough understanding of what a driving role will entail.


Once completing this qualification, you will be eligible for a guaranteed interview.



Course times, dates and location

Before starting the course, an information and selection day will be held on Wednesday 3 April 2024 | 10.30am-1.00pm.

The Level 1 course will then start on TBC between 9.30am – 4pm and run over a period of five days at the Derby Road campus. This course will run on a monthly basis, so new dates are to be released shortly.



Entry requirements and costs

All applicants must be aged 19 and over and already hold a B car full driving license with less than six penalty points.

The course is open for those aged over 19 and is FREE for anyone who is unemployed and/or in receipt of a qualifying means-tested benefit or those earning less than £20,300 per year.
