Job Description

  • Providing and supporting with personal care
  • Administration of medication
  • Nutritional support (which could include preparing, cooking and feeding clients)
  • Domestic Support (which could include shopping, cleaning or laundry support)
  • Social support (to any specific activities or clubs a client may attend)
  • Skin integrity monitoring and support
  • Record keeping- reporting in clients daily MAR charts, Skin chart, logs
  • Safeguarding clients, protecting them from any harm or abuse
  • Liaising with other professionals in regards to clients health and welfare (is GPs, District nurses, Social Workers)
  • Enabling clients to remain as independent and safe as possible within their own homes, by supporting with all or some of the above
