Please note these placements are open to all students in Nottinghamshire and surrounding areas. These placements will be in demand and highly competitive. We do advise all students interested to apply as soon as possible.

Ensure you have agreed start & end dates with your employer before completing your application following the steps below.

Step 1 - Complete the work placement application form or the placement app (connect – placement manager).

Step 2 - We will check you meet the college's employability standards and then complete the Health and Safety Risk Assessment.

Step 3 - Once this check is approved we will send you, your progress tutor, and the employer an email to confirm your work placement is ‘ Ready to Go’. You MUST NOT START YOUR WORK PLACEMENT, until you have received the confirmation email.

We encourage you to secure your work placement as soon as possible. The deadline to have a placement agreed is 20th Dec 2019.

Please note - Placements are open to all students at Vision West Nottinghamshire College, this may result into the placement being allocated; the work placement team will be able to let you know if this placement has been fully allocated.
