CIPD Foundation Certificate in People Practice (Blended Learning) - Level 3

Overview

As one of the CIPD Approved Centres, West Notts successfully deliver this Level 3 qualification. Based on the new Profession Map, this qualification focuses on the knowledge and behaviours required to create value and make an impact in the changing world of work. This new qualification sets the standard for people professionals.

There are two options to gaining this CIPD Foundation Certificate within the college to support your learning style, blended learning (online and on-campus) or on-campus. Find out more about the on-campus option.


Start dates and fees

Online study with monthly on-campus tutorials held once per month in an evening.

The course fee can either be paid in full or in four instalments.

If you wish to pay in instalments, you will be required to pay 25% (£348.75) of the total fee on the day of enrolment and a Direct Debit mandate would then need to be completed to enable the college to collect a further three payments of £348.75 bi-monthly. The payments will be taken on the date you choose on the Direct Debit mandate form.

What will I study?

  • Business, culture and change in context.
  • Principles of analytics.
  • Core behaviours for people professionals.
  • Essentials of people practice.

These are studied using a state of the art online learning platform with access to a live tutor.

Once per month a tutorial group will be held at our Derby Road Campus, to support your development and share best practices.


Entry requirements

  • Level 2 qualification in English language and maths 
  • Completion of an initial face to face or telephone interview to ascertain whether the course is suitable and right for you.
  • Good IT skills (using web platforms and word processors).

How long is the course?

  • 175 hours over a 12 month period.

What can I progress onto?

Once you have completed the foundation qualification you can progress further to the Associate level qualifications.  We currently offer the Diploma in People Management at the Associate level.
