The Young and Successful Peer Mentor will deliver a programme of one to one support to identified young people engaging on the Young and Successful Programme.
The Peer Mentor will ensure that support is delivered to the highest standard, within the service remit. They will develop support plans in conjunction with the young people to ensure barriers to work are comprehensively addressed. The role will also involve completing ongoing support plans, monitoring information and ensuring the personal budget, job start payment and job placement payment are spent appropriately and within budget.
The Peer Mentor will have some responsibility for maintaining links with
Local employers and service providers to ensure the young people supported

The Peer Mentor will be line managed by the Progression Manager, who will provide support through regular supervision. The mentor will also work with the Hub Lead Coordinator and GGN with regards to service provision coordination and reporting against targets.
