College salons to host wellness day with fundraising and offers

The special event, organised by the college’s talented hairdressing and beauty therapy students, will showcase a variety of exclusive treatments, offers, and festive experiences designed to promote wellness and self-care at the Derby Road-based venue.

Guests can look forward to:

• Purchase a skin pack for £25 and receive a free express facial (booking essential, valid until March).
• Purchase a body anti-stress pack for £19.50 and receive an express back massage or Indian head massage (booking essential, valid until March).
• Hairdressing offer: purchase a Christmas pack and receive a complimentary blow dry/style (valid until March).

In addition, Level 3 beauty therapy students will be providing free skin analysis and personalised Eve Taylor product recommendations, following their specialist workshops with the professional skincare brand, which is new to the salons.

Level 3 Hairdressing students will also offer free hair and scalp analysis with Wella product advice.

Level 2 Make-up Artistry students will deliver make-up tutorials, demonstrating Eve Taylor cleansers, toners, and moisturisers, which will be available for guests to purchase on the day.

Visitors can relax and enjoy refreshments including prosecco, tea, coffee, and orange juice, and take advantage of purchasing exclusive Christmas gift sets, which include a complimentary voucher for a future blow-dry service provided by Level 2 Hairdressing students.

To add to the festivities, there will be complimentary goodie bags, a charity raffle, and a ‘Guess the Name of the Elf’ competition, with all proceeds going to the John Eastwood Hospice in Sutton-in-Ashfield.
