Students rework Shakespeare at college theatre

Posted: 04 December 2017

West Nottinghamshire College’s performing arts students will be bringing their own adaptation of a Shakespeare classic to the Create Theatre stage in December.

Macbeth
Macbeth

Macbeth is being given a unique and thrilling twist by budding actors on the HND Performing Arts programme, on the Derby Road-based stage on Thursday 14 December.

It focuses on a soldier unrivalled on the battlefield. Macbeth is rewarded with rank and favour. But in his own ambition and lust for power, he falls into a spiralling descent into butchery, madness and paranoia.

The show, which starts at 7pm, costs £5 for tickets and £4 for concessions. Tickets can be purchased from www.createtheatre.co.uk or by calling 01623 413363.
